Good value for annual plan

I was looking for a new email marketing platform and compared a few options. iContact's annual plan offered a good discount, which was a big selling point for me. I managed to get a decent saving compared to paying monthly. The drag and drop editor made setting up my first campaign quite straightforward. Overall, I felt it was a worthwhile purchase.

Absolutely love it!

I just signed up for iContact and I'm already so impressed! The Drag and Drop Email Editor is a dream, seriously, it made designing my newsletter incredibly easy. I used one of their Responsive Email Templates and it looked perfect on every device. I'm already planning my next campaign and telling my business partners about it!

Consistent service, easy upgrades

I've been using iContact for my email campaigns for a few years now. This last time I upgraded my plan for more subscribers, and it was as smooth as ever. The interface hasn't changed much, which is good for consistency. Deliverability has always been reliable for my business. I keep coming back because it just works.

Solid platform, minor hiccup

I switched to iContact mainly for the A/B Split Testing and the dedicated IP address feature. The platform generally performs well, and my emails are getting delivered as expected. The list management tools are intuitive, which saved me time. However, I did experience a slight delay in getting my dedicated IP fully provisioned; it took a couple of extra days. Once it was set up though, everything has been running smoothly. Good value overall.

Detailed features and support

My recent purchase was to get access to the SMS Marketing feature, and I also utilized their Custom Template Design service. The onboarding process for SMS was clear, and the team for the custom template was responsive, delivering a design that fit my brand well within the agreed timeframe. I also found the Marketing Analytics and Reporting tools to be quite comprehensive for tracking campaign performance. Their support team was helpful when I had a question about Salesforce Integration. My only minor point was that the initial setup for segmentation took a little longer than I expected.

Does anyone know if iContact does anything for non-profits? Trying to keep costs down for our small animal rescue.

S Sofia Walker 4 weeks ago
Yep, they definitely do! My friend's charity got a 15% discount once they verified their non-profit status. Saves a good chunk.

15% off for non-profits, that's what I heard too. You just have to apply and show them your documentation.

Anyone tried using their SMS marketing? Is it any good or just kinda tacked on?

G Grace M. 1 week ago
I've dabbled with it. It's not as robust as a dedicated SMS platform, but for simple promotions or reminders to my email list, it works fine. Integrated pretty smoothly with my existing contacts.

It's decent for basic stuff. Don't expect super advanced features, but for adding SMS to your overall marketing, it gets the job done.

Quick question about payment. Do they let you pay monthly or do you have to commit to like, a whole year upfront?

S Sandra S. 1 month ago
Yeah, you can totally pay monthly. But if you pay for the whole year, you get a pretty decent discount, like 20% off I think? Worth looking into if you're sure you'll stick with it.

Monthly is an option, for sure. You can cancel any time too, so it's pretty flexible if you're just testing it out.

Hey guys, thinking about switching from Mailchimp to iContact. Is it really that much better for a small business? I mostly just send newsletters.

J Jason Lewis 1 month ago
I used to use Mailchimp and made the switch. For just newsletters, it's probably pretty similar, but I found iContact's automation stuff way easier to set up for my specific needs. Plus their support felt more personal.

C Carol Rivera 4 weeks ago
Honestly, for basic newsletters, they're both fine. iContact does offer landing pages too though, which Mailchimp's free tier doesn't, if that's something you might need later.
